This advocacy fact sheet presents factors driving underinvestment in health in Mali in the context of efforts to achieve the country's commitments to the Sustainable Development Goals and progress on the journey toward self-reliance and universal health coverage. It provides recommendations on how the evidence on health system investments to date can be used to advocate for additional government investments, even in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
